There are two ways to earn money with ads.
- Per Ad Impression
- Per Ad Click
An ad Impression is when somebody opens your page and an ad just appears on it so a visitor forced to view it. You will get paid in blocks of 1,000 of those appearances (impressions). Usually, it is in the range of $5, but it can go higher, depending on the niche of your site and the ad network provider.
The second way is when your viewer clicks on an ad that appears in front of them. Since they are showing an interest in the ad, an advertiser will pay for a potential lead and your payment will be much higher.

As you can see, the U.S. clicks are the most expensive, valued above one dollar. The rest of the world is valued below 10 cents per click. Of course, this data may vary from one ad network to another, from one country to another – but it shows you a range of prices.
